SUMMARY:Edible Plants with Russ Cohen (Howe Library)
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to welcome wild food enthusiast Russ Cohen\, author of the book Wild Plans I Have Known… and Eaten\, for a two-part program in Hanover this July. \nOn Thursday\, July 16\, Russ will give a presentation at the Howe Library (and available online via Zoom) on edible plants one might find in the Upper Valley\, foraging ethics and techniques\, recipes\, and more. Those attending in person will be able to sample some of Russ’ creations sourced from wild plants! A registration link can be found on the Howe Library’s event page\, including the Zoom link sign-up. \nOn the next Saturday (July 18)\, Russ will lead a field walk at the Mink Brook Nature Preserve\, continuing the conversation and demonstrating field identification skills.
