These open gaps in the forest canopy create valuable edge habitat enjoyed by a variety of native species. Tools and work gloves will be provided (but feel free to bring your own gloves/loppers/handsaws). We will be rerouting about 500 feet of the General’s Trail on our Black Bear Glen property at Moose Mountain. Tasks include cutting branches and small trees\, digging out the trail tread\, and brushing in the old trail route.
