Pop-up Snowshoe! (Jan. 31)

Let’s take advantage of the first major storm of the season with a group snowshoe at Upper Slade Brook! There is plenty of fresh snow to traverse as we explore the trails of this quiet corner of the Slade Brook watershed.
We’ll meet at the bend in Old Lyme Road, where parking is available (google maps link here).
A limited number of loaner pairs of snowshoes are available to borrow for those without a set of their own. First-timers and beginners welcome! Please arrive a few minutes before noon to gear up. Email bmatthews@hanoverconservancy.org with any questions.
