9th Annual Hanover Trails Challenge

July 11, 2022

Co-sponsored by the Hanover Conservancy and Hanover Parks & Rec, the Trails Challenge is a do-at-your-own-pace hiking event that runs all summer.
The Challenge is ideal for families looking for activities throughout summer vacation, and is just as fun for adults or couples who want to explore new areas. Anyone can register- you do not need to be a Hanover resident.
Registration is $6/person or $20/family of 4 or more. $2 from each registration will go towards trail maintenance in Hanover to support these special places.
This summer’s challenge offers 8 hikes, 7 in Hanover and 1 located just “beyond our borders” in Lebanon.  After you register, you will receive a hiking guide* (available by June 11) with maps, directions, property descriptions, and hiking guidelines. Each hike has a special destination where you will find a wooden marker with an image for you to draw or identify in your hiking guide.
Complete 6 of 8 hikes by the end of September to be eligible for a raffle of prizes generously donated by the following local businesses: Gardener’s Supply, Hanover Adventure Tours, Umpleby’s Bakery & Cafe, Boloco, Sierra, Still North Books, Blue Sky Restaurant Group, Ramuntos, and The Nugget Theater.
Register for the Hanover Trails Challenge at Hanover Parks and Rec!
