Giving Tuesday!

To all our members and donors- THANK YOU! Your financial support is the reason we’ve been able to lead year-round outdoor trips, take hundreds of Upper Valley kids outside, and host special events like November’s Whales & Tales with the Ocean Alliance.

We hope you’ll help us meet an incredibly generous $100,000 challenge grant from the Jack & Dorothy Byrne Foundation:  every dollar you donate will be doubled until we reach our goal!

NEW this year: our end-of-year appeal was mailed with the FY18 annual report, so you will not be receiving another request near the holidays.

With an all-time high in membership, generous land donors and growing partnerships with local schools, it’s been a record-breaking year for the Hanover Conservancy. Every gift makes a difference. Please join us as we move into our 58th year serving the Upper Valley!

CHaD HERO Hike this Sunday

Hikers and hunters, please note that the woods will be busier than normal this Sunday, October 14th. Both the 5- and 7-mile hiking routes for the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD) HERO event wind their way through the Mink Brook Nature Preserve. Volunteers will be directing HERO hikers at major junctions from approximately 10-2.   Continue Reading
