Dana Pasture Lot – Moose Mt.: Public Meeting Jan.28

January 27, 2013

Those concerned about the future of the Dana Pasture Lot on Moose Mountain should attend the public meeting at the Hanover Town Office on Monday, January 28, 7:30pm. Biologists from Watershed to Wildlife, Inc. will present their findings from their study of this property’s wildlife and other natural resources.  Their draft report and maps are posted HERE.

Tour the Trescott Water Company Lands!

Coming up next: our tour of the hundreds of acres behind the fence protecting Hanover’s drinking water supply on Saturday, October 20. This special trip, led by the foresters charged with managing these sensitive lands, is for Hanover Conservancy members. Registration is now closed. Balch Hill Hawk Watch – Sept. 23

Our annual hawk watch at Balch Hill is coming up on Saturday, Sept. 22 from 11am-1pm. Bring your binoculars and kids to see the hawks soaring on thermals on their way south. Meet at the summit. Rain date is Sunday, Sept. 23. Watch this space for updates.

Birds at the King Bird Sanctuary
