Land Conservation & The Climate Crisis (Zoom Program)

How can our communities adapt to pressure from newcomers fleeing its effects elsewhere? How can land conservation help us adapt to a changing climate and mitigate its effects, and what needed to reach the goal of 30% protected by 2030? Join us for an enlightening evening on Zoom where our presenters will discuss the climate crisis and the role land conservation plays.

Hike at the Trescott Water Supply Lands

January 16, 2022

Explore a great new loop at the Trescott Water supply Lands. We’ll head east past cellar holes on historic Paine Road and return on the new Perimeter trail along the southern boundary, watching for wildlife signs in the winter woods.

Meet: Trescott Rd. trailhead

Leader: Tom Jack

Level: Easy

Snowshoes or micro-spikes available to borrow at site!
